Having a party at home? Using items from around the house and a few pieces of bling that I brought including flowers (these happen to be silk that I brought in), can certainly add just the right touch to your a tablescape.
Using the clients silver service set, we added crystals, beads, and metallic ribbon to create this New Years Day party decor. The theme in the kitchen was silver, white, and purple.
For the dessert station, I stayed with the rich tones of brown, amber, and gold which created a warm and inviting atmosphere. A complete juxtaposition from the kitchen buffet vignette. Taking a long vertical mirror, I used that as a centerpiece and set that and a table cloth on the diagonal. Hint... if your candles are not large enough to fit snuggly in the base, you can wrap the base of the candle with a clear plastic wrap or rubber bands and this will make them fit snuggly.
