For Daycationers or Staycationers alike... The New England Coast is a wonderful place to visit.

About 30-minutes north of Salem, the Rte 133 and scenic 1A connects Rockport to Essex, to Ipswich, Rowley, Newbury, and Newburyport .  The roads wind through conservation land, past the antiques shops of Essex, past farms and farm stands, salt marshes, first period architecture, and into the great shopping destination of Newburyport .   All close to the coast.  Don't forget to check out all of our great New England and Maritime/Whaling  museums
