An artichoke with the top cut off, candle inserted with some moss (you might want to dampen the moss a bit just before lighting the candle) and a card slipped behind one of the artichoke leaves.
A gum berry with a ribbon and card stock. Locally, we have some chestnut trees that offer a similar look.
Velvet Leaves, from a craft store or cut from velvet ribbon (you can use a cookie cutter or template from the Internet) a little raffia and card stock added to the top. Viola!
Inexpensive linen, embroidered name (can be done by hand, machine, or even drawn on)
Cardstock, computer or stamped graphic, ribbon, and layers make this place card a real show stopper.
A handwritten note, decorative pin, and a piece of fruit make for a quick and simple place setting on this Thanksgiving table.
Short on table space? I believe this is a vintage plant stand the was put to a new use. Thinking out of the box creates some wonderful ideas.
Corn wrapped in ribbon as a centerpiece! How simple yet how beautiful!
Bittersweet adds a beautiful and simple touch to this New England style holiday setting.
