I had a little fun "how to fold napkins" for an event at my studio. Wouldn't they be cute to use while entertaining or decorating a table? A napkin folded to look like a jacket can be dressed up with a fake shirt, a menu, or place card. Thes Roses were made by rolling napkins then I tucked a leaf in the cup. This is also cute in a bowl.

Do you look forward to Valentines Day with your special someone and look for ideas to create a special event or memory. Here are a few tips on creating a special Valentines Day for two and even ideas for those who are alone on Valentines Day.

As an interior designer in Massachusetts, I am always on the lookout for design ideas that showcase traditional "New England Style" and timeless clean lines and items that lend themselves to show a little history. I also love a touch of sparkle and glam when allowed. Here is a lovely photo of a white kitchen with a black French door, crystal chandelier, and so much more. This would look beautiful in a New England Home. Here is the description as found on House and Home.com
A distressed harvest table contrasts glam cabinets and lighting.
A kitchen lighting system that layers an antique chandelier, antique wall sconces, pot lights mounted under the cabinets and a candelabra with taper candles is visually stunning but also allows the flexibility to create any type of mood. Herringbone patterned hardwood floors only add to the European country, luxe look. Framed French doors and leaded glass cabinet doors elevate the kitchen's high style even more while milk stools used as seating around the harvest table keep it casual and comfortable.
Hello everyone!
Linda here, your personal Fine Living Muse. This web site is the new marriage of my two companies. New England Fine Living's lifestyle site which has hundreds and hundreds of pages with tips, ideas, and reviews on decorating, entertaining, travel, dining, and so much more (like my blog, facebook, twitter, and pinterest entries).
And some pages focus on my interior design and party planning business.
Like an onion, there are many wonderful layers to my business. The difference? I won't make you cry unless it's due to laughing.
So why not grab a cup of tea or glass of your favorite wine and enjoy the pages I have created just for you!
