Organized people save time and money, have less stress, and can avoid health problems caused by being overwhelmed and overworked. Their lifestyle is improved and they know the meaning of fine living.
Do you feel like you need a 48 hour day? You are not alone. Most people are trying to fit 48 hours of "to do's" into a 24 hour day.
Would you like more time to exercise? Would you like more time with your family and your friends? Do you want more time to do what you really want to do? Are you always tired because you feel like you are running in circles? If you answered yes to these questions, it is time to get organized and get energized.
In the 21st century, American's lifestyles have gotten so chaotic that many people are seeking the services of a professional organizer. Although people attend time management seminars, organizing workshops, and purchase books and tapes on getting organized, many need a "jumpstart".
They are suffering from clutteritis, information overload, and lack of time.
Cluttteritis is caused by having too much stuff and this can effect your lifestyle. People think if they only had a bigger office, or house, there would be no clutter. When Nancy Black, professional organizer, was working with one of her clients she said, "It really is about systems, not about space". At that moment Nancy knew that her client would easily maintain the organizing systems that was created for her because she now had a specific place for things.
Information overload is caused by the mail, e-mail faxes, and advertisements that we are inundated with. Nancys' most popular service, is "The 3 Hour Transformation". During that time, she helps people transform their piles into files. Together they decide what to keep, what to toss, and what to take action on. More importantly, a paper-flow system is created for processing or filing the information that can be used for a lifetime.
Lack of time is caused by people being over programmed because of their work hours and/or the lifestyle they have chosen. People are unrealistic about what they can do in a day. You have the same number of hours in a day that Oprah Winfrey, Barbara Streisand, and Bill Gates do.
Time/life management is all about making choices. Superwoman of the 1980's was a myth. None of us can do everything that we want, be everywhere, or go everywhere that we want. the reality is that we all have to make choices. Nancy helps people analyze what they do with their time, determine what they would rather do, and develop a plan of action so that they can make that happen. One of her clients said that meeting with Nancy was like taking Valium. Nancy provides these services on site in her local area and offers telephone consultations nationally.
Additionally, she provides office and home organizing to suit your needs.
One of the services, that differentiates her from other professional organizers, is business consulting. A client once told her, "You do more than organizing, you should do business consulting" These consults help people get their mind out of the clutter so they can focus on the future of their business.
Nancy Black is a professional organizer, who was a pioneer in her industry, when she founded Organization Plus in 1983. She is a Golden Circle member of the National Association of Professional Organizers. Nancy has also been featured in Forbes, FYI, Entrepreneur, and Family Circle. Give Nancy a call and let her help improve your lifestyle.

Quick And Simple Organizing Tips
By Hope Wilbanks
Organizing
has never been one of my strong points. However, I have learned throughout the years that there are some easy things that anybody can do to stay organized. Perhaps the most important thing to remember about organization skills is that you have to first get organized before you can stay organized. These quick and simple organizing tips might help you get started.
KEEP YOUR CLOSET FLOOR CLEAN The closet is quite often one of the worst places for most people. It’s all too often the catch-all spot. It’s just way easier to toss stuff on the bottom of the closet floor, rather than taking the time to put it in its proper place.
Take one afternoon just to clean out your closet. Throw away the things you’ll never use or need, find a place to put away the items you do use, and give away the stuff that’s still good but unusable to you anymore. Once your closet is clean, work hard to keep it that way. Use shoe organizers, clear plastic bins
, and storage boxes to give everything a home of its own. Then keep it that way.
PUT THINGS AWAY ASAP Every single item in your home should have a home of its own. If it doesn’t, it will invariably end up on the floor or crammed under the bed. Once you find a place for everything, it is imperative to make sure that everything is in that place at the end of each day. As soon as you’re finished using something, put it away that very second. Don’t throw it in your bedroom, thinking you’ll do it later. Procrastination is often the greatest cause of clutter and a mess.
RECYCLE Lots of magazines are getting into the green theme lately and offering some really fabulous ideas on recycling. One great idea I recently read suggested reusing old egg cartons to store small items. For example, if you enjoy beading, an egg carton would be a terrific storage spot for some of your beading materials. Some other items you might have in your house that you could recycle and use to get organized are coffee cans, plastic tubs, and mint tins. Think outside the box and you’ll be able to come up with a hundred different ways to use them.
RESPECT WHAT YOU HAVE One of the most important lessons I’ve learned about organization is that if you don’t respect what you already have, you’ll be less likely to have nicer things. When you respect what you already own, you’ll take better care of it. If you’ve been griping because you need a bigger house, why not have a huge yard sale and get rid of the things you don’t need? Once you clear out that clutter, then you’ll be able to take care of the things you have. You might also learn to appreciate them so much that you realize you didn’t need a bigger house, but you needed to release some of the clutter in your life.
