It was a cold and damp morning in January 2006, but my hands were being kept warm by the cups of coffee and tea I was bringing to my appointment with Linnea, owner of Tangorra Wedding Planning, in Newburyport, MA.  Her studio, which is right next door to Talbots, was certainly easy to find at 17 Green Street.  Upon entering, I was greeted by Linnea, soft background music, as well as the ssmell of fresh paint.

From our previous e-mails, I could tell she was going to be friendly and outgoing, and I was pleased that my instincts were correct.  When I asked her what brought her to this location, she mentioned, that next door is her favorite photographer, so she kept her eye on this street.  As luck would have it, a yoga studio became available.  Linnea and her husband rolled up there sleeves for the next 6 weekends and gave her new studio and resource library a whole new look.

No longer needing to meet clients in her home office, Linnea has a studio where brides come to visualize and discuss their wedding needs and dreams.  "Most brides already have an idea of what they want"...  "My job is to make sure they are relaxed, happy, not worrying about the weather, the final look of the wedding, or the budget, I want them to know that I will get it all done for them".   With a background in business, Linnea keeps things organized and on time, and the fact that she loves working with the brides, makes her job enjoyable.

One key client Linnea worked with was "The Knot", the national wedding magazine.  When  event planners submitted their proposal to plan the Knot's Spirit of Boston Cruise, Linnea was pleased to find out that her business was chosen to plan this wonderful gathering.  Her attention to details and perfect planning made the event a smashing success.
